Princess Ayumi aka Yumi has been very busy lately!
On May 21 she delivered her first litter of adorable furballs: 3 girls and 2 boys!
She’s a very good mommy:
Here they are close up:
Daiichi Daisuki
Dango Dasha
Dakota the creme puff
You can see them 5 days a week day on: http://www.ustream.tv/sfshiba
In about 2 more weeks they’ll be a laugh a minute as they’re big enough to start to explore the world.
Here’s some more pictures,
That’s all for now……….I only have about 50 so far LOL.
Enjoy!

Knowledge is Power

When I was diagnosed, close to 11 years ago, I was told “you are diabetic”, given a prescription for some medication, and told to wait for a nurse to come in and give me an insulin shot. When I picked up the prescription I was given a 10-page booklet telling me “All About How to Mange Diabetes”, and sent on my way. That was the extent of my “education”.
You are quite a photographer, Lizzie. The babies are so beautiful and they are blessed to have you to care for them and love them. I have two ole rat terriers, Luna Rose and Nellie Cruz, both rescued. They are wonderful therapy for me! They make me smile. I know these little ones make you smile also–joy! Yes!
Hi Jenny,
I didn’t take the photos, just collect them, I have thousands. When I’m in a bad mood looking at them makes me happy.
Lizzy
I wish I could have a dog – I’d drive up and adopt Dakota the Cream Puff as soon as you’d let me! They are all so adorable. Congratulations to all of you!
HaHa, I think Dakota is going to be the leader of the pack. She’s already exploring the crate and trying to get out, plus she’s very vocal.

Very nice pictures. So cute!
Thanks James, they are adorable aren’t they. But then I never met a puppy who wasn’t.
Lizzy
Lizzy, I have also never Known a puppy that wasn’t adorable.
Congrats to you, Momma & the adorable pups!!!!
And they’re just going to get more adorable and more fun. I really do think that Shibas are the cutest puppies on earth.
Lizzy
Can’t believe I found your diabetes blog (I’m newly diagnosed Type 2) and shibas all in one. We also have a 7-1/2 year old shiba we love to pieces who looks just like your “Princess.” We weren’t very original when we named her “Foxy Lady” but it works. There are absolutely no cuter puppies than shibas. We wish we had gotten her a playmate when she was younger, but she’s a terrific dog. Good luck with your puppies; I’ll check out your webcam.
Hi Luv, it’s not too late to get Foxy a playmate. Yuuki who’s nine took right to the pup Zen. Sometimes when she plays with him she looks like a young pup herself. All of the adult dogs get along great with him. It’s so funny because he treats each one differently because he knows what each of their boundaries are.
